About Be The Bee
Be The Bee™ is a professional beekeeping management app for individual beekeepers and organizations. It provides hive inspection recording (including AI-powered voice inspection), health tracking, trend analysis, apiary management, and operational planning tools.

Data We Collect
Be The Bee™ collects the following categories of data to provide and improve the Service:
Account and Identity Data

Name and email address;

Organization name and role;

Login credentials (passwords are not stored in plain text);

Subscription and billing information (processed via third-party payment providers).
Hive and Inspection Data

Hive inspection records including brood, honey, frame counts, and health observations;

Structured data generated from voice inspection inputs;

Apiary location data (GPS coordinates or manually entered locations);

Equipment records and operational notes;

Mite test results and treatment records.
Voice and Audio Data

We do not store raw voice recordings from voice inspections;

Text transcripts generated from voice inspections are stored as part of inspection records;

Audio notes voluntarily attached to inspections are stored on our servers;

We do not collect or use biometric voiceprints.
Uploaded Photos

Photographs voluntarily attached to inspection records are stored on our servers;

Photos are associated with your account and inspection history.
Sensor and Integration Data

Data from connected hive sensors, where integrations are enabled;

Calendar event data, where calendar integration is enabled;

Push notification tokens for delivery of reminders and alerts
Technical and Device Data

Device type and operating system;

Crash logs and diagnostic data;

How we use your data
We use collected data to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Be The Bee app and all its features;

Process voice inspection inputs and generate structured inspection data;

Store and display hive records, trends, and health metrics;

Enable multi-user organizational accounts and team collaboration;

Deliver push notifications, reminders, and alerts;

Sync with connected third-party services such as calendar integrations;
